Overall I'd recommend using Pet Paradise if you need a place for your dog to say for a little while. The dog will have a nice time, be play with other dogs, and you can be confident that he'll be safe.
We were visiting Bend for a little snowboarding and decided to bring our dog. Trouble was we didn't have a place to keep him during one of the days. So I figured some doggie day care would be great. We found Pet Paradise on the web and decided to give it a try.
Our dog was a little tentative at first, but after we went to pick him up he was pretty happy. At night he was exhausted, and that's great. They have a large 1 acre yard in the back and they let the dogs out in shifts to that area. I'm told my dog decided that the area was made for running laps.
The place is typical of many kennels, if your dog spends very much time there he'll come back smelling rather doggie. That's really the only downside, but I know of few places where that's not the case.
They have a dog washing service, but unfortunately they don't brush or dry your dog. That's fine for many breeds, but the long haired breeds don't do well with that. They end up matting. Kind of unfortunate.
