The KO Dodge dealership was formerly known as Wellesley Dodge. Sadly the service department seems to have slipped a bit. The service team is perfectly friendly and accommodating. The service I requested was performed and returned on time. When I drooped the vehicle off, they even drove me to the train station. These basic services earned them an average review.
Unfortunately there were some downsides to my experience that almost made the review rating a two. First and foremost, they tried to oversell me services that the vehicle did not need. For example they tried to sell me new brakes (rotors) which the car does not need. While I realize shops need to make a profit too, they claimed the rotors were 90% worn when they were closer to 50% worn. I might let it slid if they represented 80% worn as 90%, but this was a bit too much of a stretch.
Next I had a $500 major service performed. In the past when doing a major service, the shop would always provide a free car wash. There was no car wash done. Granted the car wash is not owed, but its the little things that make the experience great.
At the end of the day, the service was fine and I got what I paid for. So overall this service department is OK. That said be skeptical of additional services they try to sell you.
