Garrison's you'd never know it was part of a restaurant group. When you walk in you get the feeling of an upscale steak house. There are two levels and with a view of the Wine selection from every seat. The menu offers steak, seafood and some vegetarian options. I've never had anything bad there and all my co-workers who I have dragged to Garrisons while in Atlanta have gone back on almost every visit. The steaks are cooked perfectly and the portions are large but not too large. The wine menu is extensive and the wait-staff very knowledgeable. I generally defer to their wine recommendations. Another Garrisons bonus is free appetizers from 5-7 pm at the bar.
If I'm really Hungary I go for a steak but if I'm looking for a lighter option I order the Tuna appetizer and either a side of vegetables. The vegetable portion is enough for two to share. If you are there in the summer definitely take advantage of the outdoor patio. Although the view is of the parking lot they have made a reasonable attempt to enhance the atmosphere with plants.
