Interesting Italian fare for a price. Actually not too bad a price...
Excellent service and a varied menu make this a very nice neighborhood eatery. Appetizers of note include a stuffed roasted squash filled with roasted vegetables. This proved quite popular even with the non-vegetarian crowd. Also particularly good are the spinach stuffed gnocchi in a tomato cream sauce. The potato dumplings were tender but had enough body to avoid the disastrous starchy masses that are often served. We tried a couple of fish dishes (Chilean Sea Bass in at tomato caper sauce, and grilled halibut). Both were quite good - the fish was fresh, and not overwhelmed by the sauce.
Easily worth a visit if you're on the North Side...
